Cross-Strait Food Exhibition 2014

Since 2013, cross-strait economic cooperation has continued to maintain a good development trend, with new progress in the follow-up negotiation and implementation of the Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA).   Cross-strait economic exchanges and cooperation are becoming closer and more extensive.   At the invitation of Taipei World Trade Center, the Cross-Straits Economic and Trade Exchange Association is going to host the "2014 Cross-Straits Food Exhibition" for the eighth time in Taiwan from June 26-29, 2014.

This year's food exhibition comes from 19 provinces including Anhui, Fujian, Guizhou, Hebei, Yunnan, Chongqing, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Gansu, Liaoning, Henan, etc, More than 100 mainland exhibitors from 19 provinces and cities, including Liaoning and Henan, have set up 108 booths with exhibits covering general food, health food, fresh agricultural products, aquatic products, food spices, wine and other aspects.   The Cross-Straits Agricultural Exchange Association organized more than 30 leading agricultural industrialized enterprises and farmers' professional cooperative societies in Anhui and Inner Mongolia to participate in the exhibition, which helped mainland enterprises further develop the Taiwan market and comprehensively publicized to the Taiwanese people the great achievements of modern agricultural development and the good image of mainland agricultural enterprises and agricultural products.

This innovative exhibition combined four exhibitions held in the same period, such as food machinery, packaging, catering equipment and halal food supplies, to showcase the complete The exhibition attracted more than 70,000 visitors, and the effectiveness of the exhibition was highly recognized by the exhibitors.   During the exhibition, the "2014 Cross-Strait Food Show Seminar" was also held to discuss the current situation and cooperation opportunities of the cross-strait food industry, and held the The "Cross-Strait Food Industry Trade Negotiation Matchmaking Meeting" was held to seek more business opportunities through face-to-face negotiations between enterprises across the Taiwan Strait.
