October 2019 Gulfood Dubai came to an end, as the most popular comprehensive food industry exhibition in the Middle East and the world, GULFOOD attracted counsellors from all over the world. The exhibition opened 81 national pavilions with a total exhibition area of 100,000+ square meters, 4,256+ exhibitors from all over the world gathered here, including about 180 Chinese exhibitors, with a total exhibition area of over 1,500 square meters.

GULFOOD, as the leading exhibition in the industry, is a barometer to reflect the development trend of the confectionery, snack, ice cream and snack food market in the Gulf region. At the same time, as a successful sub-show of the German confectionery exhibition Cologne, it points to a huge market with one billion people and among the highest GDP in the world. According to GULFOOD's latest market report, driven by population growth, with the urbanized population forecast to grow at a CAGR of 1.7% between 2018-2023, outpacing total population growth of 1.0% over the same period, global demand for packaged food and beverages will grow further.
